So my friends and I were stupid one night and decided to knock over a bunch of peoples trash bins, and also moved a sofa from the side of the street to the middle of it. Anyways we got caught and were all going to court for disorderly conduct. As an 18 y.o in mass with an otherwise FLAWLESS record, what can I expect will happen? The cop that arrested us said he would put in a good word for us for we cleaned everything up that night and we seemed like well behaved, sorry kids and all had clean records. He only filed a case against us because his superior forced him to for the couch created a dangerous road hazard. I just want to know what to expect, I never went inside a courtroom before and dont know what to expect at this magistrate hearing. I would also like to know what to expect for a punishment, and kind of off topic but what should i wear to my hearing?
My friends just went to the under 18 court, and they got off scott free because the officer did not show. Its possible he did this as a favor to them because he said he doesn’t want to see us get punished, does this mean good news for me?
