What do you think of a Federal Judge trying to censor the internet whistle blower website Wikileaks?

Story http://rawstory.com/news/2008/US_Court_shuts_down_leaked_doc_0218.html

Of course it was never “offline” just the DNS records were removed for only one name “wikileaks.org” at one registrar, they have many cover names to avoid any such futile attempts at censorship.

Like this one.

Check it out it’s fun.

The New York Times reported this story today too. They reported that mirror site along with two others and the IP address of the US server, which will probably work faster than the foreign mirrors:
    http://88.80.13.160/
    http://www.wikileaks.be
    http://www.wikileaks.de
    http://www.wikileaks.cx

The ruling itself is rediculous. It will almost certainly be overturned as a violation of free speech. Wikileaks compared it to permiting the Times to say what they like, but ordering the printing press company not to print it. There is a ruling from the 1970′s that strongly suggests this is unconstitutional.

The judge is a conscious, active, dedicated agent of those seeking to overthrow or subvert the Constitution and democractic functioning of the republic formed in 1789, and like all traitors should be hanged by his neck until dead. If said judge wishes to construe my opinion of him and his ruling as contemptuous, he has not yet scratched the surface of what contempt can mean.
